Embedded Systems
Custom embedded systems - from PCB design to firmware
Most good products have one piece of electronics at their center that nobody sells off the shelf. That's the part we build. We've designed FPGA, microcontroller, and microprocessor systems for everything from consumer products to high-reliability aerospace hardware, which means we know when a design needs to be clever and when it just needs to survive.
We stay with a project the whole way: prototype, schematic and layout, firmware, bring-up, and managing board assembly with the fab house once you're ready to scale. Every project has one constraint that matters most, whether that's power budget, thermal envelope, cost per unit, or a ten-year field life. Tell us which one it is and we'll design toward it instead of around it.
Animatronic Control Systems
Design, build, and programming of control hardware for animatronic systems
A single-axis water feature and a multi-axis figure with lifelike articulation are the same problem at different scales, and we enjoy both. We build the control hardware that makes the motion look intentional rather than mechanical.
We drive pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic actuators, and we build for the environment the piece actually lives in: a gallery floor, a theme park queue line, an outdoor installation in July. If you already run a show control system, we'll build hardware that speaks its language rather than asking you to work around ours.
Lighting Systems
Design and assembly of custom lighting for show control and IoT applications
Lighting is the fastest way to make something feel alive, and the easiest thing to get subtly wrong. We design and assemble custom lighting for theatrical props, architectural features, and standalone products, including the awkward middle stage where you need fifty of something and no contract manufacturer will talk to you.
That covers the driver electronics, the control protocol, the thermal design, and the enclosure it all has to fit inside. We'll prototype it, get the color and response right on the bench, then build the run.
